DO NOT MISS THIS EXPERIENCE As my wife is not keen on gin and I was driving we nearly skipped the experience. However, the Tourist Office further recommended it and so we decided to give it a try.It really was the highlight of our trip to Stratford, amusing, interesting and rewarding!Well done and thank you to the two guys who entertained us.

Gintastic Experience! Had a fabulous gin tasting. Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff. Very interesting tour of the distillery Peter gave a very interesting and witty explanation of gin making. Learnt lots. Can highly recommend. This was a gift from family so no idea how much it costs but worth a visit regardless. We didn't feel rushed. It takes a couple of hours including the Gin tasting. There were 10 of us and there was plenty of time to ask questions throughout the tour. We finished in the shop where we bought a couple of bottles of Gin, with 10% off as part of the experience. So know we are Shakespeare Gin converts!

Enjoyable hour with lots of gin at Judith’s house Stratford Upon Avon centre Very good tutorial on the history of gin and how the Shakespeare distillery came to be. This was given with a complementary gin drink followed by a taster of 3 other gins with tonic if required. Lasted about 1 hour for 12 people. Very enjoyable experience and I don’t normally drink gin.

Perfect Fantastic experience, very professional, but lots of fun. Loved the talk, the tor and especially the chance to make your own bespoke gin. While drinking gin - heaven!

A wonderful distillery tour We throughly enjoyed the gin/rum distillery tour. Both brothers were informative, enthusiastic and funny. The gin and rum samples were generous and tasted wonderful. Admission fee I thought was a fair price and the length of the tour is about 2 hours which is adequate unless like us tried more samples and bought a few bottles!

A brilliant tour and bonus tasting. Very interesting and knowledgeable tour showing the whole process. All and any questions readily answered as we went around. Staff friendly and helpful. Tasting was an added bonus with choices and variations available. Highly recommended.

A fantastic way to spend a couple of hours and getting to sample some high quality stuff The staff hosting the tour are fantastic. Both Claire and Sam are knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. Although it’s a small distillery I think we all learnt so much more about Gin and Rum.The tasting was great and how it was done was far more educational than I expected.

Gin school experience Gin school experience, what a truly amazing and exciting experience, personalising your own craft gin by selecting preferred botanicals delivered by passionate hosts making it both educational and fun . We will most definitely be returning we absolutely loved it !

Great experience and would highly recommend. Great experience. Educational and entertaining. Great presenters and the afternoon was balanced in having 3 sections-gin history, how gin and rum is distilled, aged, and packaged, and the gin tasting session at the end. Great to taste up to 3 gins or rums with optimal mixers and ice. Would highly recommend this experience to other visitors. The cafe at the entrance is also worth visiting by arriving 20-30 min before the tour starts.

A fabulous experience, not to be missed! Fantastic, insightful and a wonderful way to spend a couple of hours. Clearly everyone on the team is passionate about the journey of this successful small business. We came away having learnt so much more about Gin and Rum. The tastings and information given about each product was excellent and we would highly recommend this experience.

Be ready for lots of Rum Putting my review for the Rum making class here as I couldn't find a specific spot for it. I had limited time to make it to the class due to my travel arrangements and the team at Shakespeare Distillery were super accommodating even offering to store my bag if I couldn't check in before the class when I emailed them about my situation. The class is a 3 hour workshop where you choose which flavours you would like to infuse your Rum with, I chose Christmas tones of currants, nutmeg etc, and the team are there to help guide when it comes to quantity. The guys had a great sense of humour and made the learning experience fun. During the session we also had 3 Rum based cocktails and three tastings so make sure if you do sign up for this course you aren't driving as you don't want to miss trying them all (as well as your own creation at the end). Looking forward to getting my family and friends to taste test the Rum I made during this session.

A great gift Our children bought us this tour for Christmas and we booked it on our Wedding Anniversary. An excellent choice! The tour and tasting were really informative and interesting. We got to taste several Gins and Rums and there was a good selection to purchase in the shop afterwards.

Shakespeare Distillery Gin School We had an excellent afternoon at The Shakespeare Distillery Gin School. We were made very welcome, the gins were superb, loved the Tom Collins. Crafting our own gin was great fun and the guidance was excellent. We would definitely recommend and hope to return again soon. Thank you!
